Managed Services Terms

The terms that govern managed IT, cybersecurity and technical services delivered by CAQA Technologies.

1. About these terms

These Managed Services Terms apply to the managed IT, cybersecurity, system support and technical services arranged through CAQA Technologies, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative. Client work is performed under an agreed proposal, quote, service agreement, retainer or written scope. The scope will identify the deliverables, assumptions, client responsibilities, fees, payment terms, timelines and review process. Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information. Work outside the agreed scope may require a variation, additional fee or revised timeline.

This website describes our services and provides a way to contact our team. Browsing the website does not create a managed services engagement. An engagement begins only when both parties accept a written proposal, service agreement or statement of work.

2. Who we work with

CAQA Technologies works with education and business clients, including registered training organisations, ELICOS colleges, higher education providers, schools, professional practices, growing businesses and government bodies. Our services are designed for organisations rather than individual consumers, although we support the staff, trainers and administrators who rely on those systems every day.

3. Services covered

Depending on the agreed scope, an engagement may include managed IT support, cybersecurity services mapped to the Essential Eight, security awareness training, cloud and Microsoft 365 management, backup and business continuity, network infrastructure design and support, hardware supply and repair, and software and licence management. The inclusions, exclusions, service hours, response targets and reporting arrangements for each engagement are set out in the relevant agreement, not on this website. Our Support and Service Levels page explains how support requests are categorised and handled.

4. How engagements are established

We usually begin with a conversation about your environment, your risks and your priorities, followed by a written proposal or quote. The proposal describes the services, the systems in scope, onboarding steps, any project work needed to bring the environment to a supportable standard, fees and the term of the arrangement. If you accept, onboarding dates and access arrangements are confirmed in writing before work begins.

5. Client responsibilities

Managed services depend on cooperation between our team and yours. Clients agree to:

6. Access and authorisation

We access client systems only with authorisation and only to the extent needed to deliver the agreed services. Administrative credentials are stored securely, access is logged where practicable, and access is removed when an engagement ends. Where third parties host or control parts of your environment, you authorise us to liaise with them on your behalf for the purposes of the engagement.

7. Fees, payments and cancellations

No payments are taken through this website. There is no online shop, checkout, subscription billing or payment gateway on this site. Fees for managed services are quoted in writing and invoiced under the relevant agreement. Cancellation and termination rights, notice periods and any early-termination consequences are set out in each agreement rather than on this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Information collected through this website

Through this website we collect only the information you choose to give us, such as your name, organisation, email address and phone number when you submit an enquiry through the contact page or subscribe to our newsletter. That information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information about client systems, users and configurations collected during an engagement is handled under the relevant agreement and our confidentiality obligations.

9. Limits of advice

Content on this website is general information about our services. It is not legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice, and it does not take account of your organisation’s specific environment or obligations. Recommendations made during an engagement are based on the information available to us at the time and on the systems we can see. Responsibility for business decisions, regulatory compliance and insurance arrangements remains with the client, and our Cybersecurity Disclaimer explains the limits that apply to security outcomes.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms, an existing engagement or a proposal can be sent to info@caqa.com.au, raised by phone on 1800 266 160, or submitted through our contact page.
